Also shown are the 2 included felt covered shelves that provide easy access to your supplies.
The K Station is designed for micro macrame, knotting, and bead weaving, such as Peyote stitch (any technique that requires a pattern).
This photo shows the same K Station working platform position without a person so that you can see the K Station features more clearly including its Brass trim (example - the reinforced corners on the lower right of the photo).
This shows how the K Station can be used with any bead weaving that has a pattern. The K Station platform is a perfect "book stand" for the pattern, plus the shelves allow easy bead access. Also you can remove the working platform from the K Station to use as a lap board in crowded areas, such as on a plane or in a car. (I do many projects while traveling) (pattern seen is copyrighted by Ann Paxton).
When you are ready to travel the K Station becomes a self-contained suitcase for all your supplies including your macrame board. You can store the macrame board without un-pinning your project from the board.
The K Station packages into a "suitcase" as shown. To set it up, you simple unlock the working platform (see clasp) from the station, lift it out, and adjust it to the desired angle in seconds.
The K Station has a handle (as shown) plus a piggyback strap (not shown) so you can attach it to your wheeled suitcase for better portability.
Each K station is individually handmade in the USA of knotty pine with brass hardware and trim, so please allow 6-8 weeks for receipt of your K Station.
K Stations come in Basic Black (as shown in these photos) or Au Naturale (clear laquer finish), so you can see the knotty pine.
