Several of my watercolors (Koi Frenzy, Hong Kong Reflections and Kachina Carver) have been selected for publication in the Best of America Watermedia Artists, vol. II that should be out in early 2010. The book contains many beautiful watercolor paintings so if you get a chance to see a copy it will be well worth it. The book is published by Kennedy Publishing.
The KStation is our FIRST announcement for 2010 and we have several more exciting announcements scheduled that include very interesting beading tools, new micro macrame instructions, videos and other interesting things. So please check this site often in 2010!
Starting in 2010 I have decided to reduce my teaching schedule and commitments. I will continue to teach at Piece of Mind Beads in Sacramento, CA both scheduled classes and Focused Groups (where 5 or more people get together, choose a project or two, and then we schedule a time for the classes. This provides the group much more focused time with me on topics and projects they are most interested in.) I will probably NOT be teaching at any shows (I think their classes are becoming very expensive for the students and the show is disruptive on the class), but I will be available to teach at Bead Guilds or Societies, which I find WAY more fun.
