Water Lily I
Water Lily I

I placed the flower in the lower, left-hand corner and let it spread out. I like compositions that are off center and asymmetrical; it makes things more interesting.   The color of this flower goes from yellow in the center to deep pink at the end of the petals.  I have more pictures of these water lilies (as usual) and since this painting has sold I can do another painting that is similar as a commission.  SOLD
