The photo for this painting was taken by Master Silk Painter Karen Sistek’s mother…Jane, thus the title. I painted this on 16mm Habotai silk with Jacquard (Red Label). I love Parrot Tulips with all their freeform petals. I also love orange. Mounted on 20 x 30 canvas.
