We visited Svalbard, Norway this summer, which is a group of islands north of Norway on the National Geographic ship Explorer. We were 530 nautical miles from the North Pole. The weather was cold, but absolutely wonderful (after all, it was over 100 degrees at home). The cruise, which was an expedition cruise with zodiac landings, was marvelous - great crew, ship and food. We highly recommend it.
I took over 450 pictures and there are a few I think turned out pretty good. Bob, my husband, has suggested that I should offer some of them for sale, so I am putting 10 of them on the web site. They will be available in 2 sizes: 8x10 for $18 plus shipping. I'll have a little write up about the picture, so you will know where it was taken, etc.
We love Ft. Bragg and on the way there we found a Dalia Farm and the flowers were to die for. Here is some of them.
