My 2nd painting (done is high school) was of a forest. I didn’t know how to finish the painting, so my teacher suggested that I paint over it. I did…with a painting of a flower. My husband has been encouraging me to paint trees again. I am so happy that I did. This is painted on 16mm Habotai silk with Jacquard and Dupont dyes and mounted on a 20 x 24 canvas.
